Baird is an accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist with the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapists who sees both adults and adolescents along with their families. He utilises his professional training and experience along with his empathy and care in order to help adolescents better manage and understand issues or concerns that inhibit their natural growth and development.
Baird understands what helps teenagers to function and thrive in their environment and that sometimes adolescents may experience things that are upsetting or worrying. Or perhaps they can feel unhappy or dissatisfied inside, or even angry or depressed. The supportive process of talking with an adolescent therapist in therapy sessions can be a means of discovering emotional stability, growth and/or a greater ability and confidence to undergo changes needed in one’s self.
Baird is experienced in working with adults and adolescents with the following issues: Anxiety/Depression, Anger, Bullying, Disability, Grief/Loss, Managing/Understanding Mental/Emotional Health, Parenting/Caring, Personal Growth & Development, Relating/Relationships, School Refusal, Self-Confidence, Self-Esteem, Sexuality, Spirituality
In the country of Baird’s origin, he first obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Tennessee.
